May 12th Radke Martinez Regional Shoreline Hike

Saturday, May 12th, come to Radke Martinez Regional Shoreline Park to enjoy a hike along the beautiful Carquinez Strait marshlands and shoreline. We will meet at 9:15 am and begin hiking at 9:30 am sharp. It is an easy hike on paved and gravel trails and wooden bridges. All members are welcome. Please leave Fido at home as dogs are not permitted on the trails because it is a national wildlife refuge. The hike begins at the duck pond, continues on past the fishing pier and over bridges through the marsh to the sunken schooner and beach. Then we’ll wrap back next to the Union Pacific / Amtrak tracks and Grangers Wharf crossing Alhambra creek.

To get to the free parking area we’re we’ll meet, take I-680 to the Marina Vista exit and go west towards to Martinez. Once you get into town, turn right on Ferry St., go across the railroad tracks and bear to the right into the park (Joe DiMaggio Dr.). Then bear left onto N. Court St. and almost immediately turn left into the parking area.

“It was a new health care experience for me when I joined Cornerstone Primary Care. At my comprehensive first meeting with Dr Bernens, who reviewed my health records, coordinated my care with specialists and then reviewed their reports with me and made valued suggestions and follow ups. In addition, Dr Bernens called me at home to explain some of the more significant test results. It is a pleasure for me to recommend Dr. Bernens and Cornerstone Primary Care to patients who are looking for an outstanding primary care.”
